YOUTH HOSTEL

Global Backpackers is a ‘Youth Hostel’ for guests aged 18 to 35 years old.   We require a valid Passport or Drivers licence ID for check in. Group bookings please be advised we cannot guarantee groups will be accommodated in the same room.

RATE & OTHER INFORMATION

  • All rates are quoted in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of GST (Goods & Services Tax).
  • Rates are valid until 31 March 2026.
  • Rates quoted are per person for dorm bed unless otherwise specified.
  • Guests are required to present a valid form of ID on check-in, we will only accept a Passport or drivers licence.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Accommodation cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to arrival will result in a cancellation fee equal to one (1) night’s accommodation charge per person.

LOCAL CHARGES

Please note, fees are charged by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and Queensland Parks and Wildlife for entry into the marine and national parks. These fees and levies are included where applicable in your total cost and highlighted as ‘local charges’. These charges are subject to change and payable at time of check in.
